Bridge the Gap is a community outreach program designed to enrich the lives of abused and neglected foster children and provides resources to enhance the stability, growth, and success of children in
foster care.

Bridge the Gap
A Local Nonprofit for Local Children in Foster Care

Founded in 1999, Bridge the Gap is a nonprofit, based in SW Washington. They provide resources to enhance the stability, growth, and success of children in foster care.

They hold fundraisers, such as toy runs, golf tournaments, auctions, and their annual Champagne Brunch, and donate their time to assist the needs of fostered children.

Their mission is to bridge the gap between the needs and the lack of resources available to children in foster care. They provide the means for children to participate in activities such as sports, self-esteem camps, tutoring, clothing, toys, and more.

Bridge the Gap is celebrating 25 years of supporting children in foster care, in honor of their founders Peggy Hays and Tawny Hemminger, posthumously.
